Rain fell through the sunlight

Green grass all around

Fruit trees on the right

A breeze blew, didn’t hear a sound

I woke up, it was just a dream

Couldn’t figure out what I’d seen

Close to me, so serene

Thought it was real, but it was all a dream

So I crawled back into bed

Reached up, pulled the fruit down

Took a bite, it was wet, sweet and tart

Suddenly, I heard rain hit the ground

A song deep, deep in my heart
